Hi, I’m Cat Perry (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem concerns. I am passionate about working with individuals facing the pressures to stay strong and be everything for everyone around them.
Therapy with me is a space to slow down and embrace who you are and find the gaps in what is missing in your life. We will look at how past experiences, relationships, and systems have influenced the way you see yourself and move through the world.
Additionally, if you are exploring identity, navigating gender or sexuality, or untangling expectations about who you are “supposed” to be, that work is welcome here. I am affirming of LGBTQIA+ identities and committed to creating a space where you do not have to explain or defend who you are.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. My experience across inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings allows me to support both acute distress and meaningful long-term growth. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed and multicultural perspective, and I prefer to integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches in ways that feel natural and supportive rather than rigid.
I offer in-person and virtual counseling services for individuals in Ohio. If this feels like the kind of space you have been looking for, I would love to connect and see if we might be a good fit. Please feel free to reach out through the contact page! My hope is that you leave sessions feeling more grounded in yourself and more confident in how you move through your life.
