Katie Manley PMHNP

Hello, wonderful people! My name is Katie Manley (she/her) and I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). I graduated with my bachelors of science in nursing from Xavier University and continued my masters education at Northern Kentucky University with a specialization in mental health and psychiatry.

From inpatient and residential psychiatry to partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, I have cared for patients across every stage of their mental health journey. I offer in-person and virtual follow-up appointments for patients aged 18-65.

I am passionate about educating patients and healthcare providers alike on the idea that good health occurs at every size and shape; I have a special interest in eating disorders. I have an enthusiasm for working through trauma and providing psychiatric medications to ease the anxieties that come with post-traumatic stress and complex PTSD. I have cared for patients suffering from addictions and am devoted to providing compassionate care and supportive medications to aid in sobriety and harm-reduction. I am committed to caring for neurodiverse patients and those with ADHD who struggle with day-to-day functioning and require psychiatric assistance to optimize their daily living.

My dedication to creating an inclusive environment and providing culturally sensitive care to all patients from various backgrounds is a core value of mine. I am a proponent for providing gender-affirming mental health care for the LGBTQIA+ population; when you are working with me, you can rest assured that I will address you by your preferred pronouns and allow you to express your true and authentic self in a safe environment. I am committed to the belief that mental health care should encompass all aspects of a patient's life-- mind, body, and spirit. This is bolstered by my preference for working collaboratively with other disciplines such as counselors, case managers, dietitians, and other providers.

When you choose to work with me, your life experiences and your own definition of good health will be treated with the utmost respect. I am committed to including patients in their own treatment plan and educating patients on the medical aspects of mental health. I am excited and honored to walk alongside you, support you, and cheer you on as you embark upon your own journey of self-discovery and self-actualization."
